Drop files here or

Drop a square source image. ConvertPass will zip PNG files at 16, 32, 48, 180, 192, 512 pixels.

What this tool does

The source is resized to 16, 32, 48, 180, 192, and 512 pixels and zipped. A square source works best. Non-square images are fitted to a square canvas.

How to use it

  1. Drop a square PNG or SVG-rasterisable image.
  2. Download favicons.zip.
  3. Reference the sizes in your site’s metadata.

Supported input

  • A source image, ideally square

Output

  • A zip of PNG files at standard sizes

Privacy

This tool processes files and text locally in your browser. Your content is not uploaded or stored by this site.

ConvertPass does not include your input in analytics, URLs, or error reports. Encoding: PNG. Limit: 25 MB (25.00 MB).

Limitations

  • No .ico bundle in this version.
  • SVG is rasterised if the browser can draw it, which loses true vector scaling.

Example

Input
mark.png 1024×1024
Output
favicon-16.png … apple-touch-icon 180.png … icon-512.png

Troubleshooting

The icon looks padded
Use a square source with the glyph already centred. This generator does not auto-trim transparency.

FAQ

Do I still need a favicon.ico?

Legacy browsers like it. Modern browsers are happy with PNG. This version ships PNG only rather than a half-tested ICO writer.

What about maskable icons?

Keep important content in the centre 80% if you will also use the 192/512 files as maskable PWA icons.

Is the zip uploaded?

No. JSZip runs in the page.

Can I pick colours?

Not here. Prepare the source artwork first, then generate sizes.
